Getting to The Right Seller

Most Realtors and real estate investors that I know are paying for leads in some form or fashion. Typically it is one of two ways that they are "paying". They are either advertising in a variety of publications to bring new clients in OR they are paying some lead generation source to provide them with potential new clients.

So, my question to the hundreds of thousands of Realtors in these situations would simply be "What are you really paying for?"

Here is the way that I see it:

QUANTITY VS. QUALITY

In a perfect world....You would only pay for a lead if it had the potential to turn into a client, which has the potential to turn into commissions.

So, if you are paying for hundreds of leads a month but only a fraction of them REALLY have the potential to turn into a client then again I ask...."What are you really paying for?"

I have a tendency to view things in a very pragmatic way and it seems to me that if I have to spend my time "digging" through hundreds of leads with the possibility of getting one or two each month that are ready to do business - not only have I invested money, but I have invested a tremendous amount of time too. All for a chance at one or two people.

WOW! What a waste of time, money, and energy.
